Pass Christian Recreation Raiders Youth Basketball

Our Youth Basketball Program is designed to introduce boys and girls ages 5-12 to the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to improve their skills, this program provides age-appropriate coaching that emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Program Highlights:

Age Groups: Divided into divisions based on age and skill level

Focus Areas: Dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, game rules, and strategy

Experienced Coaches: Trained staff and volunteers dedicated to positive youth development

Game Play: Weekly games as well as weekend games and scrimmages to build confidence and apply skills

Practice Sessions: Held 2-3 times per week with skill-building drills and teamwork exercises

Season Length: 8 weeks, including a season-end celebration

Uniforms & Equipment: Jerseys provided; players should bring their own sneakers black shorts & water hydration

This program fosters a love for the game while building essential life skills such as leadership, discipline, and resilience. All skill levels are welcome come join the team and grow on and off the court!
